[Keloid Scars]

Keloid scars, also known as "crab's claw" or "hypertrophic scar," extend beyond the boundaries of the original wound, causing the wound to protrude, become rounded, and hardened. The edges are irregular and claw-like, causing itching and pain. In fact, keloids are a benign scar formation characterized by excessive activity of fibroblast cells, leading to excessive collagen production and the formation of abnormal scar tissue.

To prevent scar overgrowth or the formation of keloid scars, it is important to avoid scratching the affected area to prevent stimulating cell proliferation and the formation of scars.

It is recommended to use [Herbap Matrix] scar care gel as soon as the wound has healed, as it can effectively prevent scar overgrowth.  If keloid scars have already formed and are within two years, it is recommended to use [Herbap Matrix] immediately, applying it 2-3 times a day for 3-6 consecutive months.  The protruding scar will gradually flatten or fade.
